IDDAS appoints Lord Freeman as Chairman

1 June 2006

IDDAS, the business and career mentoring firm, today announces the appointment of Lord Freeman, former Cabinet Minister and Chairman of Thales Plc, as Non-Executive Chairman.  The new Board will continue to be supported by his fellow advisors who include Elizabeth Filkin, former Parliamentary Standards Commissioner, Martin Smith, Deputy Chairman of New Star Asset Management, Jane Kingsley, former Head of search firm Russell Reynolds, and John Salmon, former Partner of PwC.

Jonathan Cohen, a founding Director of IDDAS, said: “Lord Freeman’s appointment is particularly welcome, coming at a time when our continued significant business growth has resulted in the recruitment of more people, our move to IDDAS House and clients spanning the Public, Industrial, Financial and Professional Services sectors.  His advice over the past four years has been invaluable.”

Co-founder and Director, David Stewart, said: “With his years of experience in both Government and the Private sector, Lord Freeman will make a real impact on the future development of our business, and we are planning further expansion in the coming year with the recruitment of additional partners.”
