Ian Parsons

Ian has over 30 years experience in senior roles in retailing, specialist distribution and healthcare. He has been Managing Director of a number of retail and distribution businesses including the Savory & Moore chain of 230 pharmacies, Scholl Retail with 200 shops worldwide and Chief Executive of Macarthy PLC, a FTSE250 quoted healthcare group.

Since 2002 Ian has been part time Chairman of BodyCare International where he has overseen the restructuring of the business and the management buyout from Venture Capital and other minority investors. He has continued to work with Banks and Venture Capitalists reviewing existing and proposed investments. Has had considerable previous experience as a mentor, in one case working with a CEO developing a large retail business from family owned to becoming a quoted plc.
