Hilary Sears
Hilary has extensive experience in Executive Search, having been a Director/Partner/Vice President in Carré Orban, Korn Ferry and A T Kearney Executive Search respectively. She advised and assessed Boards, and managed appointments at Board level across private and public sectors – and moved into the Cabinet Office on secondment to the Leadership and People Strategy Directorate. Her earlier career was in advertising in London and Montreal, and in marketing with Johnson and Johnson.
She has been Chairman of City Women’s Network, and of the Central London Branch of the Institute of Directors, where she also sat on the Board and the Remuneration Committee, and is a Lady Taverner. In late 2007, she was appointed as Chairman of the Association of MBAs and in 2008 Chairman of Kids, the national charity supporting both children and young people with a disability, and their carers. She is on the Boards of Forum UK, part of the International Women’s Forum, and Cranfield Management Association. She holds an MBA from Cranfield, and a BSc (Econ) Honours from UCL.
