Biography

David Stewart, Director

David's banking career encompassed senior roles in domestic and international merchant and commercial banks. In 1991 he became Managing Director at Hill Samuel and was subsequently appointed Commercial Banking Director of the parent company TSB Group.

In 1996 he joined Abbey National as Director responsible for all Business Banking and Asset Finance before leaving in 2001 to fulfil a long standing ambition to pursue an independent career. David has been a Senior Advisor to the Financial Services Authority and Chairman of Broadcastle plc prior to its sale to Siemens AG. He is a founding partner of IDDAS and is a non-executive director on the boards of Fletcher King plc and Davenham Group plc.
