Biography
David Potter
David's early City career encompassed roles as a Managing Director at White Weld which became CSFB, founding head of Samuel Montagu's Capital Markets Division and Managing Director of Midland Bank's Global Corporate Banking Division. As CEO of Guinness Mahon Group he led its recovery, its emergence as a significant force in new media and its eventual sale to Investec. Since early 2000 he has developed a plural life and is currently Chairman of Camco International, a leading quoted climate change business, Vycon Energy, a cleantech flywheel manufacturer and a non executive director of Solar Integrated Technologies, Noble Group (the Edinburgh based Merchant Bank), New Media Spark, Quercus Publishing and Guinness Flight Venture Capital Trust. He also serves as Chairman of The National Film and Television School Foundation, and is a trustee of The Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund (UK), WorldWide Volunteering and is a Governor of Godolphin and Latymer School.
